Dengue fever malaria risk

since the floods in the dominican (haiti) is the malaria still considered low risk
How the risk is at the moment after the flot I do not know exactly, but in general Malaria occurs on the whole island. A higher risk is in the western province´s, for example Castanuelas,Hondo Valle and Pepillo Salcedo. the risk for travellers is nevertheless low.

"Centro Nacional de Control de Enfermedades Tropicales" has tried to fight against the moscitos and the malaria got less.
In Addition to Malaria there is the risk of Dengue fever that is also transported through moscitos.
Since Malaria and Dengue fewer are transported through Moscitos you need a good vacation and a medicament against them.
